Meet Nikitas!

Nikitas started his dancing career in 2006 in Chania and since then he has walked dozens of kilometers listening to tango music throughout Europe.

In 2015 he started teaching based in Chania in order to spread his knowledge and his love for tango. Basic principles of his teaching are the communication achieved through the connection of the embrace and perfection in the technique which are primary elements for a dancer to be able to cultivate physically and spiritually.

Having a background in musical education from an early age, Nikitas showed a special interest in tango music, which he studied in depth from the first years of his contact with the dance, as a result of which he developed into one of the most successful DJs in Greece with participations in many big festivals and tango marathons both in Greece and abroad.

In 2020, he traveled to Argentina, a trip that brought him close to the culture of dance and made him understand in depth the values of tango, the importance of music but also basic concepts that are inextricably linked to the history of dance such as nostalgia, passion and many other emotions that he was bound to experience on one of the most important journeys of his life.
